Non-stop Rocketeering [DAY4 / GODOT 4.1]
Made for DAY 4 of the Pass the Game Jam, as such, the game is not finished.
Enter a game about destroying asteroids for materials to upgrade your rocket all the while fending off enemies and gaining powerups!
Press 'F' for fullscreen

My additions:
• Added coins which can be gained from destroying any type of asteroid • Added XP which is use to spawn a powerup. XP is gained from enemies • Added 1 new powerup: 'Hot Lasers' which makes bullets penetrate enemies • Added 1 new asteroid type which has more health but is more rewarding • Added 1 new enemy type which is tougher than the Fireball • Made a shop with 2 functional upgrades • Hurt FX so it is more obvious • Added more sound effects for certain things • Added a status system which displays when new enemies and powerups appear • Current powerup is now displayed • A score system which takes many aspects of your run into consideration • Tweaked many values such as health and speed • Added more 'juice' such as improved screenshake and enemy sprite state based on health • Updated controls menu • Changed some things behind the scenes to allow future developers to do certain things easier • Renamed it because uuh uh idk
